Welcome to Sabha's
Rang Munch
Founded in 1930, Shakespeare Sabha started as the dramatics society of St Stephen's College. Today, Sabha is the multilingual theatre society of St Stephen's. As a society, Sabha seeks to participate in and promote theatre in various shapes and forms, be it street-play or stage productions. It is always Sabha's endeavor to incorporate the innumerable languages and cultures of India in our productions, and now we are hoping to augment our reach by restoring to Sabha its very own theatre blog, Rang Munch!

Though reworked under a new moniker, Rang Munch strives to retain its original essence of providing an avenue of expression to individuals from all walks of life with a need and desire to share their insights, contemplations, and infamous escapades in all things theatre and art. Rang Munch endeavors to fill your daily routine with a delightful spread of artistic delicacies to choose from, regardless of whether you came with spare seconds for a quick refreshment, or whether you came prepared for a four-course (or six-course?) meal. After all, we have taken it upon ourselves to bring you the best bits of snack-sized theatre bites and food for thought!

Poetry, stories, personal accounts, memes, audio-visual content - all sizes fit our blog. You can tuck away into any pocket that you find snug and warm. But you are also very welcome to lovingly craft your very own pocket - knitted with thick, toasty wool on the inside to keep warm, and a brazen, all-or-nothing, spirited attitude on the outside that another can stumble by and snuggle into! Rang Munch welcomes art and love no matter which language nourishes it, but do remember to go through the guidelines to understand the nature and the process of work at Rang Munch better. You can always reach out if it is some inspiration for your piece of art that you want, Rang Munch will be prepared to help out.

With lots of love and bites of drama,
Rang Munch,
Sabha.
